Known as “Dr. de” by his patients, Ralph de Similien is a former educator with experience in Teach for America and AmeriCorps. Board-certified in psychiatry, he’s worked in emergency rooms, inpatient hospitals, outpatient mental health centers, and correctional facilities, providing care to individuals with mental illness.
His interests include public and community psychiatry, education administration, healthcare management, and administrative psychiatry. He’s committed to addressing social determinants of mental illness and supporting the mental health needs of transitional-age and young adult populations.
